The Project
This two-story stucco storefront had seen better days, with a tired facade and dated windows. We gave it a new storefront with a large display window, a recessed entry and new black-framed windows upstairs, and refreshed the exterior.
Today it’s home to End of the Road Yoga.

When It Was a Bar
Before it was a yoga studio, the Jakich Building was a neighborhood bar. These snapshots catch it in its heyday: a crowd lined up along the long bar, a New Year’s Eve party under tinsel and paper hats, and a band with a guitar and accordion playing in the back.
Hidden Tin, Top to Bottom
Under the dropped ceiling and paneling, the room was wrapped in pressed tin, ceiling and walls alike, along with an old landscape painting of a North Woods lake. Tap any photo to see it larger.
End of the Road Yoga
A new storefront on the street, and a fresh back entry with red-trimmed windows and a covered stair.
